By looking at the front and back cover of Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s Telephone C.D, it is clear what the essential features are of a C.D cover. On the front cover there has to be an image (preferably of the artist), the artists name and the title of the song or album. On the back cover the same 1970’s retro feel is continued, from the use of earthy colours, font and image. The back cover also includes the name of the tracks and maybe their length, information about who produced the song (such as who wrote the song), information on the record label and a barcode. C.D covers like this also usually include a small booklet attached to the front cover, this could give more information about each song, lyrics or even just photographs.
